“ If you're looking for amazing Middle-Eastern food and a cool place to eat, this is the spot. The owner's super cool and seemed really genuine and down-to-earth. He's a very friendly guy, and the food they make definitely tastes just as good as it looks. Definitely hit this place up, the diner look is cool as well. ”
“ This used to be a 5 & Diner many years ago. It was empty when we came in so I was a bit worried. Has high reviews on Yelp so we gave it a try. The staff was so friendly and attentive, but not overbearing. I'm so glad we came! The food was delicious! The prices were fair and we got so much food, enough for leftovers. We will definitely be back. ”
“ Amazing! Super sweet and welcoming people. Food is sooo good ! This is definitely my new favorite place ”
“ Food is good. I don't love that they serve it in to go styrofoam containers and plastic utensils at the table, do you not have dishwashers, that was a bit odd. It was better few years ago, food was on actual plates and everything was overall nicer. The location seems deserted and the outside is not maintained and a bit run down. Nobody was in the actual restaurant but us. Pickup orders seemed to be the thing for them. What is happening with flaming kabob? ”
“ I love this place. Food 100, not 10 ha ha Servers, cooks, they are great I highly recommend. ”
“ Absolutely delicious! Great food, quality and quantity. This family owned business goes back to 2005, the place is clean and looks newly renovated. The owner is at the restaurant to ensure quality and the best customer service. He is so friendly and enjoys a good conversation. We ordered the meal for 2 to go. It comes with all of the traditional favorites. I added gyro meat because I personally like it the best. If you are looking for some authentic Greek food, try this local gem. ”
“ We ordered here last night and got a chicken shwarma, gyro, and some baba ghannoj for dinner. We ordered through a delivery service and we ordered our entrees without tomatoes and both of them came with tomatoes. The delivery service made it right j believe and took some $ off. The meat within each entree was cooked well and seemed to be good quality. The slices and seasonings were tasty as well. My pita was a bit too hard for my taste and my jaw abilities but otherwise it was pretty good. The fries were tasty as well and I'm a huge fry fan. I would have liked to see a larger portion of fries with the entree as well, the portion was small. The appetizer was great it's one of the best I've had here in AZ I highly recommend. ”
“ Food is excellent. Ambiance it nonexistent. This is one of those places that changed a bunch after Covid. Spoke to the owner, who said that catering and to-go orders are what is keeping the business afloat. So even if you decide to stay in to eat, everything comes in styrofoam and you get plastic utensils. It was also eerily quiet. When we arrived, the only two employees were the owner and one cook. There was one other man in the restaurant, finishing his meal. No music. Just quiet. I was slightly bummed because I had consulted the Yelp community before picking the restaurant. Instead of searching for "Greek" or "Mediterranean" I looked up "saganaki." (For those of you who don't know-it's wonderful yummy flaming cheese served with pita bread.) The reason for using "saganaki" as a search term was that, since it's served on fire, it doesn't really work as takeout, and so many Greek places are fast-food gyro places, and we were looking for sit down. With servers and personal menus (instead of posted on the wall) and metal silverware. Sigh. As I said, though, the food was excellent. Hubby and I ordered the Combo for Two. It could have easily fed three, and if you're a group of light eaters, four. I've attached before and after photos. Bottom line, if you're looking for GREAT takeout, you've found it. If you're looking for a nice night out, choose someplace else. ”
“ This restaurant used to be a 5 and Diner. It has that cool, retro 50s design. The owner Khalil was very nice and polite. I got a classic gyro which hit the hunger spot. There was no AC but it looked like they were just doing takeout. ”
